The annual \u201cDay of Magic\u201d will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Blue Springs Christian Church, Blue Springs, MO 64014.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, we\u2019re offering a great schedule of events and some special features.<\/p>\n

Doors open at 11:00 am. Admission is complimentary for Ring 129 and S.A.M. 38 members.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Non-members may attend for a fee of $20.00, which covers admission for the full day and includes one swap table.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Instead of the traditional Ring Auction, a Magic Flea Market will be conducted until 2:00 pm. Members are welcome to bring items to sell, set their own prices, engage in trades and bartering, and collect payments directly.<\/p>\n

Please note that the Ring will not facilitate transactions; all sellers are responsible for handling their own sales and collections. It is strongly recommended to bring cash for convenience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the Flea Market, we will host a distinguished Magic Book Lecture Event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our IBM Ring’s esteemed magic book collector and seller, Dan Bradbury<\/em><\/strong>, will deliver an engaging lecture about the intricacies of collecting magic books and ephemera. Topics covered will include collectability, valuation, and best practices for managing collections.<\/p>\n

The event blends elements of Antiques Roadshow and The Price Is Right.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attendees will observe demonstrations, discover the potential value of their books, and acquire knowledge presented in an informative manner.<\/p>\n

Members are encouraged to review their collections and bring one or two items to the \u201cBook Show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following Dan\u2019s presentation and Q&A session, participants are invited to remain for a special viewing that promises to be noteworthy<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The event is scheduled to conclude around 5:30 p.m. No food or drinks will be provided; however, members may arrange to dine together at a local restaurant afterwards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
